be very suspicious of gap ups in a down trend as participants often unload shares into the gap up...we are still in a downtrending market...if buyers don't show up and sellers keep unloading like this, it just shows that there are still holders of stock...until most people have sold and are left feeling disgusted about the market vowing never to return, we will not have a bottom..
last time I felt being left out and rushed into the market...it was also a gap up day...and the financials reversed just like today...I'm happy that I am able to control myself this time
