Last week was hectic for me. I had so many things going on while trying to put on a few good trades.
A mistake I made during the week was trying to pick an entry in DGP. Gold had a good flush out last week and we consolidating in low volume on monday. What did I do wrong? I went in and purchased a small position in DGP inside the consolidation. This is a no no, since I always wait for breakout before getting in a position. Therefore, I made the mistake of wanting to to be in something, but didn't wait for price to confirm before committing my capital. I paid for it, eventhough a small position, the price broke down the descending triangle in a scary, gap down fashion the next day. I had to get out, because I realized that I shouldn't have been in the position in the beginning. So i doubled my position and got out on the partial gap fill.
