Lacked flexibility today and had preconceived notions of going short, short, short all the time, while ignoring what the market was telling me. Damn. Just didn't fell right at all. The objective mindset i had last month was completely gone today. I entered trades based on what I felt or what I perceived to be..and then imposed it on the market, even when the market turned against me. I think I really need to slow down quite a bit and refocus on the basics again.
One of the reasons I failed today was from over-trading. My success in march had been to pounce on those opportunities where I had an edge. Now? i'm feeling some what relaxed and wasn't afraid to dive in any setup i see. I don't know if this is a transitional period or what...but I really need to slow down, else I'd be bleeding to death by 1000 paper cuts.
