Reflection:

The "self mastery" part of the quote reminds me of a section by Douglas in The Disciplined Trader:

"The difference is that the traders who can make the money consistently...approach trading from the perspective of a mental discipline...emotional control, and the ability to change their minds to flow with the markets."

So, whatever my goal for trading stock is, to reach it is not about using whichever system or technique...it's about having first mastered my own mind.
